I agree, those devoted to the Dreamcast that jumped to the XBOX brand inspite of Sony have been taking a hit as of late and their numbers are declining. Still, it's hard to overlook the constant defense that some sites like IGN with their NGII review and Too Human preview are providing to protect X360 game flaws. Especially exclusives.

No Team Ico was a dissapointment. But RPGS? Disgaea, Valkyria Chronicles, Exclusive-content Eternal Sonata and White Knight Chronicles announced last month to be out before March 31, 2009 and probably dominating the TGS. Yeah, I like that line-up.
Question is, how long will localization take? Hopefully not too long.

NPD figures aren't very consistent with Sony announced figures at events like E3 and TGS. It's hard to get concrete agreed upon figures.
If exclusive Disgaea 3, exclusive Eternal Sonata content and exclusive Valkyria Chronicles don't keep you busy, just know TGS08 is going to be all about WKC.
And then White Knight Chronciles comes along and whips FFXIII's a$$!
More Xbox lovers realize it's still PS3 exclusive in Japan and begin to understand that as far as the console war goes, their console still loses. In terms of 360 gamers and this game in NA and EU, they're just happy it's not PS3 exclusive anymore. They won't buy it, they'll just use it as bragging rights.

to see where this is all going. PS2 started slow but ended up selling 120 million units worldwide with maybe the greatest gaming library ever. PS3 started slow and now is outpacing 360 in all territories and is bringing out the big AAA guns post MGS4 this fall to follow-through on their momentum. Sony made mistakes at the start, but have now cleaned up their mess to take back the console war. It'll be tough catching the shovelware-extrodinare that is the Wii and it's price point, but the 360 ...
